Of course they do – they’re THE boot of the season.

When these sparkly knee high Saint Laurent boots debuted on the runway during Paris Fashion Week, the front row naturally flipped.

And we can see why.

These slouchy rhinestone-embellished beauties kicked off Saint Laurent’s show with so much style that there’s virtually nothing in the shoe stratosphere to compare them to.

They’re so covetable that, according to reports, both Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman have had to put customers on a wait list for the NZD $13,000 handmade shoes.

Neither department store would give specific numbers on customers actually waiting for the boots, other than Saks revealing it was “many”, according to WWD.

Commenting on the boots’ design, Saks’ senior vice president Roopal Patel said: “At Saint Laurent, the crystal diamanté slouchy boot had such an emotional response to it. There’s something to be said about glitz and glamour — it’s the boot of the season.”

Possibly helping to up the ante of boot-based buzz is the fact that Rihanna recently shared a snap of herself to Instagram wearing a pair fresh off the runway. She captioned the lust-worthy shot: “Presh out da runway”. The picture has since had 1.2 million likes.

Given the boots already have Rihanna’s backing, we imagine it will only be a matter of time before these sparklers are seen on celebs everywhere.
