Fashion month may be over, but the standout runway moments are still top of mind. From Paris to Milan, designers reimagined house codes while pushing new ideas forward — whether through striking tailoring, playful texture or unexpected drama. With so much to take in, choosing favourites was no easy task. Here, the FQ team shares their favourite collection from the Autumn/Winter 26 season:

Christian Dior

“Jonathan Anderson’s Dior show was pure magic. In the sunlit Tuileries Garden, models crossed a pond and circled a glasshouse. Anderson riffed on Dior’s love of flowers, placing floating water lilies in the pond (fake, of course, but stunning). They inspired raffia blooms on an asymmetrical lace dress, water-lily thong sandals, and more. Bar jackets softened over layered tutus, pleated silks replaced structured menswear, and coats wrapped like dressing gowns. This collection proved just how far Anderson has come in trusting his instincts – chef’s kiss!” – Sarah Murray, editor in chief

Chanel

“Amid a rainbow of cranes at the Grand Palais, Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection made heritage feel fresh. Ultra low-waist skirts, remixed tweeds, boxy blazers and two-tone heels were paired with feather floral brooches, metallic accents and ruffles. From a star-studded front row — including Olivia Dean, Teyana Taylor and Margot Robbie debuting her impossibly chic new bob — to a finale set to ‘Just Dance’ by Lady Gaga, the show made one thing clear: Matthieu Blazy’s appointment has marked the beginning of a vibrant new chapter for the house.” – Georgia Bramley, creative director

Givenchy

“Sarah Burton’s third show for Givenchy is a perfect example as to why we need more female creative directors. A love letter to the strength of women, the collection was a masterclass in tailoring and sculptural design. Vibrant pops of colour, impeccably draped fabric and the most lush textures. Simply divine! My favourite details? The ingenious Stephen Jones head-wraps made out of satin t-shirts and an exquisite floral dress with cascading fringe detailing that was inspired by a painting by Filipino artist Olan Ventura. That said, I found it nearly impossible to choose a favourite show this season so here are a few more honourable mentions: Diotima’s textural presentation in New York, Prada’s masterful multi-layered show in Milan and Simone Rocha in London (I’m dying to get my hands on that Adidas collaboration!).” – Natalia Didovich, digital producer

Schiaparelli

“Daniel Roseberry proved once again that few designers understand drama quite like he does. The show took place in the Carrousel du Louvre, once home to the Paris catwalks of the 1990s and early 2000s, which already feels iconic. Everywhere you looked there was something slightly offbeat. Skirts trailed into tails, fur prints appeared alongside painted crocodile scales, and one look was even crafted from unspooled cassette tapes and crushed CDs. Schiaparelli will always have my heart.” – Sophie de Renzy, multimedia content coordinator

Tom Ford

“Alongside the statement TF elegantly structured tailoring, I loved the sheer PVC bonnets and coats, which gave subtle American Psycho meets The Matrix vibes in a chic way. The aesthetic was moody and seductive, with an androgynous elegance throughout. The mixed-media fabrics (the denim too!!) and contrast collars added depth, while bold animal-print coats brought a statement moment yet it all still felt clean and minimal. I also loved the bomber jackets, which added a cool, effortless edge to the collection. In addition, spotlighting models of all different ages was refreshing to see.” – Tiffany Low, commercial director
