The first trailer for Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance has just dropped, and we’ve dropped everything to report to you this very serious, “heart-hitting” event.

Here’s what we learned from the 20 second teaser trailer.

1. Lifetime movies is not known to bring audiences top-notch acting… but we can expect beautiful actors at least, loaded with a whole lot of cheese.

Parisa Fitz-Henley plays Meghan Markle in the film, and we can’t help but notice that she’s practically Markle’s doppelganger – lucky lady. (Not to mention her hair always looks fab, no matter the weather). We’re feeling the magic for Murray Fraser, too – as Prince Harry, he pulls off a glorious beard and gorgeous accent.

2. The film is sure to grant us a curious insider look into the imagined life of our favourite royal couple (don’t worry, we still love you Wills and Kate!)

Scoping their romantic journey from that first fated blind date to their royal engagement, our expectations are high. And in the short trailer, we are given a glimpse into a whirlwind of safari trips, picturesque landscapes, and even intimate bedroom cuddles.

3. Don’t forget to bring your tissues to the cinema – Harry’s corny lines have got us feeling sappy already.

“I don’t need my life to be this perfect royal picture, I just need you.” Wow. Full of sappy one-liners, we aren’t sure yet if they’ll make us laugh or cry. Probably both. The biggest disappointment here is the two month wait until we can find out for sure.

Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will be released on 13 May – just six days before the couple marry on 19 May.
