The retail giant is heading to the Bay, baby.
It’s official. H&M is expanding to Tauranga Crossing. But before you get ~too~ excited, the H&M Tauranga store hasn’t opened yet… But it’s a sure thing according to the Swedish fashion retailer.
While it might not be firing on all cylinders in time for your 2018 Christmas shopping, you can count on it to provide all the Easter bunny onesies, chocolate motif t-shirts and autumnal style with the opening said to take place in April 2019. The brand has kept details on the Tauranga store to a minimum leaving us reeling with questions. Will it be one storey? Four storeys? Will it extend to H&M Home? Men? Kids? Baby? Who knows!? But when we do, you’ll be the first to hear about it.
To date, there are four H&M stores in three of New Zealand’s major cities: Auckland (2), Wellington, and Christchurch. So yeah, it’s arrival to Tauranga is kind of a big deal. H&M Commercial Bay on Auckland city’s waterfront only opened late-August, 2018 and is touted the affordable retailer’s flagship store spanning 3,500 square metres.
