Another day, another physical attack on a celebrity.
Just days after Gigi Hadid was set upon by celebrity “prankster” Vitalii Sediuk, he has now targeted Kim Kardashian during Paris Fashion Week. Dude, this is getting a little old.
Last week he tried to pick Gigi up, but she reacted swiftly, elbowing him in the face. Before Gigi, there has been a long list of celebs who have experienced the Sediuk treatment: Will Smith and Miranda Kerr were kissed against their will; Brad Pitt was attacked on the red carpet; America Ferrera had Sedius crawl under her dress; and two years ago, also during Paris Fashion Week, Kim was nearly dragged to the ground by the guy.
He calls himself a “prankster” but this descriptions sounds way too harmless for what he is doing.
On the nature of his actions, he commented on his Instagram:
“When Ellen DeGeneres scares the crap out of her star guests on her own show, no one calls it an assault. Even though not many celebrities truly like it. I just don’t see the difference between what Ellen does in a professional studio of Warner Brothers and me on the red-carpets or the streets outside the venue. With the exception, that Ellen Show makes a profit out of it. While for me those pranks remain as a hobby.”
Gigi Hadid, on the other hand, spoke to Lena Dunham, telling her: “Honestly, I felt I was in danger, and I had every right to react the way I did. If anything, I want girls to see the video and know that they have the right to fight back, too, if put in a similar situation.”
Meanwhile Kim gave her security a well earned shout-out on Twitter:
