Minimalism is taking a backseat in 2025, as adornment steps into the spotlight. The rise of maximalist accessorising is a joyful rebellion against the quiet luxury we’ve come to know. Think bows the size of bouquets, jewel-toned handbags that resemble chainmail, and opulent embellishments that flirt with excess. Accessories are no longer afterthoughts, they’re conversation starters and mood-lifters in equal measure. Whether it’s Camilla and Marc’s ‘fluffy’ pumps or a viral Labubu clipped to your handbag, this is dressing not for utility, but for delight. Below, explore our guide to the season’s most extravagant extras.
