Suitably on the first day of spring, leading UK footwear brand Dune London cut the ribbon on its first Auckland store, bringing a fresh take on footwear to New Zealand.
The contemporary new store in Newmarket will showcase Dune London’s latest women’s and men’s footwear and accessories for every occasion.
Affordable and luxurious (we like the sound of that), the brand offers trend-led pieces from ballerina flats to high-top sneakers. Based in London, the footwear fashion house has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, from where it has grown from an Oxford Street fashion store to a retail group with over 300 stores and stockists the world over.
Dune London finally landed in New Zealand with the help of 3 Wise Men. The co-founder of the men’s shirt brand, Richard Miles, said the team sought out Dune London shoes as “a quest to bring the brand I always admired to NZ”.
There are plans to open between 15 to 20 Dune-branded stores over the next three years in New Zealand. And with a second store opening at St Lukes, Auckland, in early October, Dune London is certainly putting a spring in its stylish step already.
