A nutritious breakfast is one of the many small rituals that you can implement to improve your overall health. While many of us would love to sit down and enjoy a leisurely meal in the mornings, it’s not always an option when you’re in a rush or on the go. For FQ‘s editor in chief Sarah Murray, a simple blueberry smoothie remains a go-to in her breakfast rotation. Packing a rich dose of macro and micro nutrients, it’s both a nourishing and easy way to begin her day.
“Mornings are hectic in my household. I have myself and three other little people to get ready, fed, and out the door,” she says. “That’s why I’m obsessed with making a morning smoothie – it’s so easy to make, filled with everything I need, and I can sip it while packing the school lunches. It tastes pretty good too!”
To make things even easier for herself, Sarah whips up her morning smoothie in Shark’s Ninja Blast portable blender. Boasting a cordless design with and easy-open sip lid and carrying handle, it’s as easy as throwing in her chosen ingredients and pressing the blend button.
