Beauty lovers rejoice.
If you’ve ever been guilty of walking into Sephora while abroad ‘just looking’ and walking out with endless beauty staples, then you’d know, this is dangerous but exciting news.
Nevertheless, it’s time to get your pennies together and start forming your wishlist, because rumour has it that beauty giant Sephora is making its way over to New Zealand.
Yep, that’s right, the jewel in the crown of beauty, Sephora is said to be opening its first flagship store in Auckland later this year, just in time for the Christmas rush (so yes, you better start being nice).
According to the New Zealand Herald, there is a three-story fit out – with an estimated $5 million price-tag might we add – about to get underway on Queen Street, meaning our hopes are most definitely at an all-time high. Speculation has also been running wild that Sylvia Park, Commercial Bay or 277 Broadway could all be possible Auckland locations.
To make matters even sweeter, the luxury cosmetics trailblazer has been advertising positions for Auckland retail assistants online, raising the levels of our suspicion even higher.
However, the beauty giant has not yet confirmed nor denied the opening of a store, after solely operating as an online service for Kiwis.
Can you blame us for not being able to hold back our excitement?
