Rihanna has made history after being named the first black woman to front Dior. The fashion house has announced the singer as the face of the fourth episode of its Secret Garden video series in Spring 2015.

The film and print campaign has been shot in Versailles by Steven Klein, and continues on from the third chapter, which has had more than 9 million views on Youtube. “I feel very special,” Rihanna said, “not just as a woman of colour, which I think is brilliant, but as a woman to be acknowledged by Dior is very special.”

Rihanna follows in the footsteps of previous Dior ambassadors Jennifer Lawrence, Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron.
