From Dior to Calvin Klein, Raf Simons has been named the chief creative office of another major fashion brand.

If you’re confused, allow us to explain…

Simons, of Dior and I film fame, was previously at the helm of Dior’s design for three-and-a-half years before parting ways with the French house for “personal reasons”. Taking over this role is Valentino’s Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Rumours of Simons’ move to Calvin Klein have been circulating for months but it was only officially announced today as he had a non-compete contract with Dior until July.

So when’s his first collection? Raf will show the spring 2017 Calvin Klein collection at New York Fashion Week  in September. That’s like really soon!

Time’s ticking Raf, but if you can pull together an entire couture collection in no more than two months, you can definitely create this one in time.
