A London-based company has created technology similar to Cher Horowitz's digital dressing room.

The revolving wardrobe in Clueless has long been coveted by fans of the cult flick, but until now has been as realistic as Cher Horowitz’s Alaia-packed closet.

London-based technology company Metail is making the bespoke dressing room a reality, allowing users to create their own 3D models based on their height, weight and bra size to virtually try on different looks.

Users can their share their outfits via social media or email so seek advice from friends.

Metail CEO Tom Adeyoola told WWD the sharing tool was key in moving the user’s experience forward.

“Sharing outfit combinations with friends for comment and advice in the same way that consumers shop for clothing on the high street has been a key experience missing from the online shopping experience, until now.”

While you can’t actually buy the 90s-inspired clothes from the website, it gives us a glimpse into what online shopping could look like in the future.
