KHLOE’S DASH TO LAS VEGAS

Khloe Kardashian is racing to ex-husband Lamar Odom’s side after he was found in an unconscious state in a Las Vegas brothel, reports say.

According to TMZ, Khloe is “completely inconsolable and heartbroken” upon hearing Lamar had allegedly been partying “for days” and had taken a herbal Viagra substitute. The divorced couple ended their marriage in July this year, and the reality TV star and fashion designer “cut off contact with Lamar in the summer”.

Just a day earlier, Khloe and her family hit the red carpet in celebration of Cosmopolitan magazine’s 50th anniversary issue. Khloe, along with her her mum Kris Jenner and her sisters Kim, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie all star on the cover.

Lamar has been airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital where he remains in critical condition.

VICTORIA’S SECRET PERFORMERS REVEALED

You know you’ve well and truly made it when you’re invited to perform at the annual Victoria’s Secret runway show. One of the biggest televised events of the year, previous acts have included Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Seal.

Confirmed for the 2015 show taking place in New York are Rihanna (who previously performed at the show in 2012), Selena Gomez and The Weeknd. Based on previous performing artist-model match-ups on the Victoria’s Secret stage (Heidi Klum and Seal, and Adam Levine and Anne Vyalitsyna – both sadly no longer together) we can only hope the inclusion of The Weeknd means we’re set to see the singer’s girlfriend Bella Hadid  strut her stuff. The model, and her sister Gigi, are both rumoured to be walking in the show.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE GUNS FOR WAGE EQUALITY

Jennifer Lawrence has caused a stir in Hollywood today with her essay in Lena Dunham’s e-newletter about the gender pay gap: “Why Do These Dudes Make More Than Me?”

The actress remained quiet when details were leaked last year of her and her American Hustle co-stars’ pay packets, which revealed Jennifer and Amy Adams were paid substantially less than their male counterparts. But today,  J-Law  has come forth to share her thoughts on the wage disparity.

She says she kept quiet initially because she didn’t want to be perceived as “difficult” or “spoiled” by pushing back to negotiate a bigger pay packet. “There was an element of wanting to be liked that influenced my decision to close the deal without a real fight,” she wrote. Jennifer is the top-earning actress in Hollywood (earning US $52 million) but still trails significantly behind highest-earning actor, Robert Downey, Jr., who made $80 million.

2016 MET GALA THEME IS ANNOUNCED

The theme for next year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute exhibition has been released – “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”. With an increasing trend for new technologies such as laser cutting, thermo shaping and circular knitting, the exhibition will focus on the relationship between handmade haute couture and this machine-made fashion.

The exhibition as always will be accompanied by the 2016 Met Gala, which will take place on May 2. Anna Wintour will host alongside Taylor Swift, Idris Elba and Jonathan Ive.
