New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW) has unveiled the first wave of designers confirmed for its 2026 programme, as it returns to Tāmaki Makaurau’s Shed 10 this August 17 – 22.
Leading the line-up is Caitlin Crisp – who will present the first solo show of the week – as well as industry favourites Juliette Hogan, twenty-seven names. Other confirmed designers include Kathryn Wilson, Taylor, The Shelter, Elle & Riley, Tough Auto, childrenswear label Sonnie, as well as the Kāhui Collective and Pacific Fusion group shows.
The 2026 event will also see the addition of a new contemporary group runway show to the schedule titled The Studio. Curated by NZFW Creative Director Dan Ahwa, The Studio will showcase some of the best contemporary designers shaping the next chapter of New Zealand fashion including Harris Tapper, REBE, Longform, Penny Sage, Fringes, Rhoda Nunn, Bronwyn Footwear and more.
NZFW Executive Director Liam Taylor said the team is focused on expanding the event’s reach, building on the success of last year’s return.
“Off the back of last year’s event, we’ve had an incredible response from designers looking to present collections on the runway,” he said. “With the support of central government via the Events Boost Fund, New Zealand Fashion Week 2026 is placing a focus on increased visitation from both domestic and international guests, media, designers and industry.”
Tickets for select shows are now available for purchase, giving the public an early opportunity to secure their spots. Further details, including additions to the programme and participating designers list, will be released in the coming months.
