Doll-faced beauty Holly Rose Emery is practically an industry veteran. It’s hard to imagine using the word for any 18-year-old, but she’s been based in New York for two years and has already worked for major players including editorials for i-D, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue as well as runway shows for Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu.

Her sweet, glass-half-full nature shines through, even though she admits it has been hard to get used to living away from home. “It’s growing on me. New York is a full-on place and I wasn’t used to being surrounded by concrete and buildings. Not being able to see the stars is a really big thing for me – it’s always hazy. But I did get to go to Patagonia in South America recently. It was freezing cold, but so beautiful.”

Winter is her favourite fashion season. “I love wearing knitwear. I always need a good fur coat, some cute beanies – and I love turtlenecks.”
