Heritage French fashion house Louis Vuitton has just opened the doors to a third store on our shores in Westfield Newmarket’s thriving luxury precinct — joining the brand’s exisiting Queen Street and Queenstown destinations.
True to Louis Vuitton’s devotion to the “spirit of travel”, shoppers can expect to be transported upon stepping into the space that echoes the architectural concept first implemented by longterm collaborator and New York-based architect Pater Marino.
The Maison’s emblematic symbols and iconic Damier pattern form a metal facade that tempts visitors into the store with a peek-a-boo effect. Once inside, you’ll find an extensive offering of both women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, fragrances, watches, jewellery and accessories.
Keep an eye out for the locally crafted furniture and art works too, from the likes Auckland-based painter James Cousins who is represented by Gow Langsford Gallery.
