A celebration of the hand-made, and the physicality of fashion, here are our favourite looks from Christian Dior Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2021-2022.

Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Christian Dior haute couture Autumn-Winter collection placed the detail and tactile nature of gorgeous hand-made textiles front and centre, from hand-loomed tweed, velvet prints, and feather embroidery to pleated silk gauze.

The garments were created amongst a new sense of post-pandemic purpose and energy—making for an emotional viewing by the individuals behind the collection.

The in-person show was also poignant, a way for the audience to return to the physical present and connect with intricacies not able to be appreciated via the virtual realm—a forlorn reality of the global pandemic.

From head-to-toe grey tweed ensembles to glamourous and muted sheer evening looks, here are our favourites from Christian Dior Haute Couture Autumn-Winter 2021-2022:
