The pop queen will turn into Versace’s fashion queen for a new show.
Long time mutual admirers and friends, Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace are set to become much closer as the singer plays Donatella in a new true crime series on her brother Gianni Versace’s brutal murder.
The friends have turned to one another for inspiration before, with Gaga starring in Versace’s Spring campaign earlier this year, and Gaga recording a song called ‘Donatella’ in 2014. They even walked the rich red Met Gala carpet together this year.
Gaga will look eerily similar to Donatella in Ryan Murphy’s third American Crime Story season, which previously gave us the gripping The People vs. O.J. Simpson and a soon-to-be-aired drama about Hurricane Katrina.
Gaga has worked with the director previously, when she played the formidable and fashionable Duchess in American Horror Story: Hotel.
