For nearly five decades, Kérastase has been working on helping us create healthy, voluminous and shiny hair. Its mantra has always been ‘If your scalp is in top shape, your hair will be your crowning glory.’ And now, after years of hair conditioning innovations, Kérastase launched a styling range to media late last week that will create the perfect foundation and finish to really turn heads. Kérastase Couture has 10 styling products priced from $39 that can be used to create a big blow-dry or a slicked-backed pony thanks to a selection of gels and high-shine serums.This new styling collection satisfies the desire for imperceptible hold, style flexibility and lasting luxury.

The ambassador for the range is Kate Moss, whose naturally fine hair has been transformed by the products. New Zealand hair stylist Grant Bettjeman of Bettjemans Hair Salon is raving about the new products: “I have always considered the Kérastase brand to be the pinnacle of luxury hairdressing, and the collection does not disappoint. The quality and versatility of the range will guarantee its huge success in the industry.”  His two stand-out products are the Mousse Bouffante – providing beautiful natural volume, and the Laque Couture – a medium hold hairspray, which Bettjeman admits “could stop a bird in flight, but brushes out leaving no residue”.
