Kendall Jenner anxiety

One minute you’re in and the next you’re out

When the first Victoria’s Secret lineup came out with a few of our favourite faces missing, we weren’t super stoked TBH! But thankfully last week, Gigi Hadid surprised fans by telling us that she and sister Bella will indeed walk again. Phew!

So, where does that leave Kendall Jenner, you ask? Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the social media star and famous model who definitely won’t be taking the runway for a third year. Although the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show selection process is famed for being notoriously difficult for models to get through, that isn’t the reason Kendall’s had to hang up her wings in 2017. In fact, it’s thanks to her ambassadorship with luxury lingerie brand, La Perla.

According to TMZ, there’s a “non-compete clause” in her multi-million dollar contract with the Italian underwear house so that’s why she won’t be strutting for VS in 2017. It’s so strict that Kendall literally didn’t even bother auditioning.

While we feel a little better knowing that it wasn’t because our model fave wasn’t good enough, it’s admittedly a little hard to feel sorry for her given the amount of money joining her bank account for taking the competing gig.

We bet Gigi’s feeling like it just won’t be the same getting on that private jet to Shanghai without her BFF though!
