Not content with being one of the world’s most recognisable models and a fashion designer that consistently sells out collection after collection for Topshop, Kate Moss has now added interior designer to her lofty CV.

The 41-year-old supermodel unveiled her latest project to The Sunday Times: The Barnhouse, a luxury five-bedroom house in the glamorous Cotswolds area, just outside of London. The country home is set upon an acre of land within the Lakes by Yoo luxury development near Lechlade, not far from Moss’ own Cotswold retreat.

Moss describes the space, which she worked on with the help of Katie Grove of Grove interiors, as being a reflection of her own style: “It’s so me”. Of Grove, she says: “I won’t do anything without her. She knows my taste exactly.”

As well as making use of local designers, such as the popular House of Hackney whose fabrics and wallpapers she used in the bedrooms, Moss also called upon her tried-and-true favourites, enlisting David Haddock — who made the dressing table in her own home — to create the four-poster-bed in the development’s master bedroom and a dining table with benches.

The artwork in the property includes pieces by Damien Hirst, Allen Jones and Chris Allen – there is even a topless photo of Moss herself.

“We have created a luxurious haven in the woods, a perfect place to escape with family and friends,” says Moss.

The property comes with a price tag of  £2.5 million (approximately NZD $6 million).
