People need to respect their privacy during this sad and difficult time.
Lamar Odom remains in critical condition, fighting for his life in a coma as his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian sits by his bedside in the Las Vegas hospital.
The NBA basketball star was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada on Tuesday. Khloe and her family quickly flew to support him, along with Lamar’s children, their mother, and Lamar’s closest friends.
The Kardashiana and Jenners have released the following statement on their personal apps:
“As a family, we’ve decided to hold off on publishing content across our apps while we continue to support and pray for Lamar. Thank you for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time.”
The statement comes after Love Ranch brothel owner Dennis Hof told Khloe Kardashian to “go to hell” when she asked him to keep the circumstances of Lamar’s situation private.
Khloe’s rep told the New York Daily News, “we reached out to Dennis politely asking him to respect Lamar’s (and Khloe’s) privacy during this difficult time and refrain from talking to the press.” She then implied that he was using the situation for his own public image. “This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad,” Khloe’s rep said.
Dennis Hof appeared on the Nancy Grace show on Wednesday, one day after Lamar was admitted to hospital.
“I got a call from their publicist today, saying, ‘Are you going to do any media?’ And I said ‘yes, I’m going to go on the Nancy Grace show,'” Hof explained to Nancy Grace. “And [Khloe’s publicist] said, ‘please don’t do that, we’d rather have Khloe say what needs to be said.’ And I told her to go to hell,” he continued.
You’d think he could have a little decency considering the sensitivity of the situation, while millions of fans around the world pray for Lamar’s recovery.
Despite the dramas with Hof, Khloe Kardashian remains by Lamar’s side. As CLEO reported yesterday, the two are still technically married so Khloe is making the medical decisions for Lamar. “Nothing in life means more to Khloe than for Lamar to make a full recovery. And no matter what happens, she will be there at that hospital, by Lamar’s side,” a source told HollywoodLife.
