If there’s one video you need to watch today, this is it.
Johnny Depp has never been afraid to take on a quirky film role, but his latest might be his best yet – playing Donald Trump in a parody biopic about his life. Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal: The Movie, made by the peeps at Funny or Die, is a 50-minute mockumentary in which Depp is virtually unrecognisable as the Presidential candidate, complete with volumised comb-over and Queens accent.
Filmed late last year under top secret circumstances, the film is presented as a lost classic, that was based on Trump’s (real) 1987 book of the same name. Depp spent four days filming his scenes for the “movie”, reportedly bringing in all his own hair and makeup people to transform him into the headline-making businessman.
The trailer was released this week to coincide with Trump’s victory in the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary and features a supporting cast that includes Ron Howard, Stephen Merchant, Henry Winkler and Christopher Lloyd.
