The supermodel isn’t shy of wearing a show-stopping dress, and this year we think she may have outdone herself.
There’s only one way to describe the dress Bella Hadid wore to a gala dinner in France this week: jaw-dropping.
While some media are having a field day saying the dress was too “naked”, we’re of the opinion the 20-year-old slayed in this stunning designer gown by London-based duo Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo aka Ralph & Russo.
Hadid was snapped in the one-shouldered clear, crystal-embellished dress with hip-grazing slit on her way to the amfAR gala, the hottest event of the Cannes International Film Festival.
Last year the model made headlines after she stepped out on the Cannes red carpet in this red satin Alexandre Vauthier Couture dress.
At the time, Hadid admitted wearing the gown was “a bit scary” because she’d always played it safe when it came to dressing for high profile events.
“Ever since prom and freshman, it’s always been what I wanted to wear but I never could. I’m usually very simple with my red carpet looks – I tend to just wear black – so this was a big risk. I was sort of scared about it, but I’ve had so much nice feedback which was exciting,” she told Glamour.
This year’s sartorial choice looks like it may have paid off in spades, and may well go down as her all-time sexiest look. We love.
