This August, designer Rebe Healy of REBE will make her New Zealand Fashion Week debut with her most ambitious project yet: ‘The Apartment’. Created in collaboration with Partridge, the multi-day brand experience reimagines the traditional fashion week show as an immersive presentation, staged in a penthouse high above the streets of Tāmaki Makaurau.
Part showroom, part salon, part private residence, ‘The Apartment’ distils the REBE aesthetic into a luxurious, three-dimensional expression of contemporary New Zealand style — with one distinctive twist: every piece is available to purchase, right down to the penthouse itself.
Curated with the sensibility of an art collector’s home, the newly completed penthouse on the 41st floor of 51 Albert Street will feature everything from REBE’s womenswear and footwear to heirloom jewellery by Partridge, collectible artworks, sculptural furniture and lighting, and fine fragrance and beauty. With panoramic harbour views, chevron timber floors, and natural stone finishes, the residence offers an elegant backdrop that perfectly complements REBE’s refined aesthetic.
“Luxury isn’t just about what you wear – it’s how you live, what you surround yourself with, and the stories behind each piece,” says Rebe Healy. “‘The Apartment’ is our way of telling that story — through fashion, art and beautiful New Zealand design.”
For Healy, 2025 felt like the right moment to stage her NZFW debut. “This year has been pivotal for REBE’s growth both locally and internationally, and we feel more confident than ever in our identity and direction,” she says. “NZFW offers a really special opportunity to connect with industry, fellow designers, and customers – something we deeply value.”
The multi-day event will open on the 27th of August with an intimate salon-style presentation of the SS26 collection alongside a live photographic shoot, replacing the runway with an intimate, editorial approach. Photographer Holly Sarah Burgess — Healy’s long-time collaborator and best friend — will be behind the lens.
“Holly has been there from the very beginning, shooting all our campaigns and playing an integral role in bringing my vision for the brand to life,” Healy says of the decision to involve Burgess in her NZFW debut. “Our friendship officially took off at NZFW years ago…So, getting to do this together now feels incredibly special.”
Partridge brings its legacy of fine jewellery and timepieces to The Apartment, curating pieces worn by models and key guests alongside a hand-picked edit from its in-house collections. “There’s a shared appreciation for elegance, excellence and timelessness, and this partnership feels like a natural expression of that,” says Grant Partridge, Managing Director of Partridge. “We’re proud to be a part of something so considered, and so distinctly New Zealand.”
‘The Apartment’ runs 27–30 August, with select events open to the public. From private trunk show appointments to an open showroom, it’s an invitation to step inside REBE’s world… and live it.
