‘Real’ was a word that appeared in almost all of Riley’s nominations – and that’s what it’s meant to be about right? We’ve always said that these awards were about celebrating real, authentic influencers so we couldn’t look past making Riley a finalist for that reason.
Having lost 30 kgs over the past year and documenting her journey to over 58,000 people along the way, it was clear that Riley’s fitspo journey went beyond the gym. To this girl, fitspo is a way of life.

So it turns out the Miss FQ team aren’t the only ones who look up to professional athlete and phenomenal New Zealand Blackstick, Rose Keddell – you guys love her too! As much as hockey is Rose’s focus, our loyal readers (dat’s you!) told us how much they love following her adventures around the country, especially when she took our Miss FQ Instagram followers to her hometown, The Mount via our Story.
Rose’s positive and energetic approach to her sporting discipline and overall healthy lifestyle is incredibly infectious. I mean, talk about #goals!

When a Kiwi chick ends up on The Tyra Banks Show the world listens… and follows her every move on Instagram. With over 245k followers on the ‘Gram over 300k on Facebook, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who hadn’t heard of the lovely and truly authentic Simone Anderson – or seen one of her before and after photos demonstrating her incredible 92kg weight loss.
“[Simone] is honest about social media, dispelling the myths around body positivity and beauty standards, and is candid and open with her approach to content,” one fan wrote, proving you can’t have ‘fitspo’ without the inspo and that’s our (and your) favourite thing about Simone.

Started as a normal exerciser and now we’re here. Well, Lana’s here and she definitely ran… really, really fast! That’s right, this middle distance runner (and total babe) wasn’t always chasing the finish line, in fact she’s only been running for a few years but has rapidly grown in popularity on Instagram thanks to her motivational captions, inspiring fitspo photos and lovely, genuine personality.
As one v accurate nomination reads, “[Lana’s] the sort of girl you want to be your sister or BFF, and she’s total fitspo!”
