Gwyneth Paltrow wearing goop for juice beauty mask

Gwyneth Paltrow has this week released her own line of skincare products called goop by Juice Beauty.

The goop website founder, actress and our favourite conscious uncoupler, created the line of organic products in collaboration with California-based Juice Beauty – a company that’s been in the organic beauty business for more than a decade.

The partnership began 13 months ago, with Gwyneth jumping “at the chance to build on their remarkable track record for safety and environmental protection and create a line that’s different than everything else out there.”

In an article posted to goop, the star says she had “very clear ideas of exactly what I wanted each product to look and feel like, and how I wanted them to perform.” She further explains: “The melting cleanser had to melt perfectly, cleanse effectively, and feel amazing going on and coming off; the night cream had to be cushy and comforting and thick but not waxy; the face oil had to sink in easily and moisturize intensively at the same time. I’m sure I drove everyone crazy, but in the end, we all love what we’ve made.”

The range currently consists of a cleanser, exfoliator, night cream, day moisturiser, face oil, eye cream and The Discovery Set – travel sized versions of four of the six Goop products. But Gwyneth assures us there’s more to come!
