Glow-in-the-dark doughnuts exist and we literally can’t even cope

You glow dough

Still have glow-in-the-dark stars on your bedroom ceiling? A fan of waving around glow sticks at concerts? How about eating an actual glowing donut?

Thanks to the internet we’ve seen the likes of galaxy desserts, the donut cone, rainbow food and doughnut bouquets, but now we have been blessed with glow-in-the-freakin-dark donuts, courtesy of Black Star Pastry in Oz.

Not only are the *Glownuts* super cool, but according Black Star Pastry owner Chirstopher Thé, no artificial ingredients are used.

The glowing yuzu jelly is from vitamin B, which is often typically used to make glow-in-the-dark food.

“We would never create anything that was unnatural, even if it was a great idea,” Thé told the Daily Mail. “We never add dyes or additives to any of our products. We strictly adhered to this principle in order to make the glow in the dark donut happen.”

If you are lucky enough to be in Sydney during the Vivid festival, which runs until June 17, be sure to check it out the Glow Cave Dessert Bar.
