Repeat after me: ‘Thou shalt not wear thy bag on one’s forearm or shoulder, nor carry it in one’s hand.’
Ever since influential New York fashion house Proenza Schouler styled their catwalk models in a never-before-seen way at last week’s Fall ’16 NYFW show, wearing your shoulder bag – particularly one with a short strap – across your body and tucking it under your armpit is so ‘in’.
Just watch out for deodorant stains and potential leather chafing, okay?
The verdict: Comfortable? Probably not. Cool? Definitely.
