It’s creamy and gentle but leaves no residue once rinsed away. I use it with an oil cleanser to take off my makeup, or by itself to freshen up my face in the shower.

Dermalogica Precleanse, $69.

It removes every single trace of your makeup, even waterproof mascaras and lipsticks. It’s the most gentle cleanser I’ve used and is suitable for all skin types and conditions.

Cosmedix Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser, $80.

Lactic acid really helps decongest skin without being drying and harsh. It’s perfect for combination skin, removes impurities and is calming as well.

Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil, $85.

I love how quickly it removes really long-wearing makeup. It leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft rather than stripped like a foaming cleanser can do.

Chantecaille Rice and Geranium Foaming Cleanser, $102.

I use this morning and night as a second cleanse. It lathers to a silky foam and a little goes a very, very long way.

Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash, $52, and Cucumber Herbal Conditioning Cleanser, $42.

I cleanse first with the foaming wash, then the cucumber one. It makes you feel so fresh. You don’t realise how much stuff is still on your face if you only do it once. I follow up with a calendula toner.

Clinique Mild Liquid Facial Soap, $39.

Simple but effective for my dry combination skin, a little goes a long way so I see value in its price point. The foaming action leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean.

Dermalogica Precleanse Balm, $75, and Daily Superfoliant, $109.

I use the balm and follow it with the exfoliating Superfoliant powder. It’s an absolute killer combo that leaves skin feeling fresh, clean and renewed.

L’Oréal Paris Pure Clay Charcoal Detoxifying Gel Wash, $15.

It makes my skin feel so clean, bright and detoxed, plus it’s super affordable!
