Cabo San Lucas may be known as a bit of a Spring Breakers’ dream, but the Mexican beach town is also a destination for the rich and famous.
With 350 days of sunshine per year and 5-star resorts and restaurants at every turn, it’s no surprise Mariah Carey chose Cabo as the venue for her 47th birthday celebrations.
The singer rented a $17,110 (USD$12,000) a night villa for the week, where she put up close friends and family, including current beau Bryan Tanaka.
Casa Fryzer would have been plenty big enough to house her entourage (including a staff roster of five) with six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, outdoor fire pits and pizza oven, a heated infinity pool and whirlpool, swim-up bar, indoor and outdoor screening rooms and an onsite gym.
In case Mariah and pals ever got bored lounging around at the villa, there is also a private yacht charter on call, to drop the group off at a nearby secret beach or take them whale watching, snorkeling or fishing.
