Everything f#*k!ng awesome that happened at Stolen Girlfriends Club last night

25 August 2016

Our inner luxurious grunge-lover came out at SGC’s VIOLENCE TERROR CHAOS Spring collection show

If there’s one designer we, and the rest of the industry, always look forward to it’s Marc Moore and Dan Gosling’s Stolen Girlfriends Club presentation. Typically edgy and forever a party, this year didn’t disappoint.

It was clear from the atmosphere and the garments that the collection was inspired by a 90s youth. 501 jeans, hand-drawn leather jackets by artist Micheala Van Der Laan, and last night’s slept-in makeup ensured the girls exuded sex appeal, if nothing else.

While the blurred daffodil print was beautiful, the standout pieces were the waist-cinching belts that were so modernly styled to accentuate the cleverly wearable silhouettes.

Bravo, gentleman. It was an incredible show as always.
