One of the most trusted names in fashion footwear retail in New Zealand, Scarpa have established their new flagship in Auckland’s bustling Newmarket shopping precinct.
Marking its 27th year in business, Scarpa spared no expense at the grand opening of their brand new Newmarket store on Teed Street. The reigns of the Scarpa brand have been handed down to daughters Liz and Pip from founders and parents, John and Barbara Upton, who began a shoe business in Whangarei many years ago.
The new Teed Street destination is an amalgamation of the company’s two previous Newmarket sites – Runway on Nuffield Street and 277 Broadway Scarpa – and it will house global fashion footwear brands such as Proenza Schouler, Diane von Furstenberg and Stella McCartney to name a few.
