It was a case of “oui oui!” to an evening of sun-drenched style inspiration at the French Riviera-themed FQ Swim Show.
Fashion Quarterly celebrated the start of summer and all the season has to offer by whisking guests away to the idyllic Côte d’Azur – unfortunately, just figuratively this time: the venue being the rustic One Cascade art studio and event space in Freeman’s Bay.
After being greeted by two handsome men dressed in classic Breton stripes, our invitees sipped on sparkling San Pellegrino or champagne from the divine Mumm Rosé Box before diving into the platters from Jess’s Underground Kitchen, all the while listening to French tunes spun by DJ Steve Dunstan as they mixed and mingled.
Then the party really got started with our très chic models transporting everyone further into summer, strutting the rose petal-strewn runway in the best swimwear this season has to offer, along with berets, glam jewellery and printed neckties for the ultimate in #accessorygoals.
