So it only seems fitting that the triumphant return of contemporary menswear brand Crane Brothers to its Canterbury origins would take place during the month of February, a month otherwise referred to as the month of love.
To celebrate the opening, guests were invited to the store situated in the Midland Club located on Oxford Terrace, fronting the Avon River. Plagued by building delays following the 2010/11 earthquakes, for founder (and Cantabrian himself) Murray Crane, the Christchurch store opening resolved a long-held ambition to have a retail presence in the garden city.
As an ardent supporter of heritage and the arts, Crane knew instantly that the character building in a precinct rich with creativity was the right home for Crane Brothers, and would be the perfect backdrop to celebrate the significant milestone for the brand with friends, guests and customers.
