People ask me all the time, “What do you actually do?”
Uhh, hello… I work on this website and Miss FQ magazine, obvs. Both of which include writing articles, reviewing beauty products, interviewing (sometimes) famous people, and styling fashion shoots.
Let me tell you, working for a magazine brand in New Zealand might sound glamorous – and it does have its O-M-G moments, I admit – but I am SO not like Andy from The Devil Wears Prada. In saying that however, my job is a lot of fun… and freakin’ hilarious.
Fashion people say stupid sh*t. Not just during Fashion Week, but all the time. Especially where I work.
There are divas, comedians and basic babes by the dozen in our office and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Unsurprisingly, this makes for some seriously LOL moments on the daily.
