For delegates and attendees, the pavement of Auckland’s Viaduct Events Centre is their runway
Day two of NZFW, the first official scheduled day, saw Salasai open the proceedings with their ‘Life in Theory’ collection. Wynn Hamlyn was a firm favourite of the day, as was the Jarrad Godman x Servilles show. But those weren’t the only cool displays… Yes, as per we stood on the street to watch the delegates and international guests flock in for the first full day lineup.
Jeans were on the menu; always blue and often ripped. So too were tones of muted pinks and metallic teals. Likely vintage bomber jackets featured heavily alongside in-your-face designer handbags and blogger Talisa Sutton wowed the photographers with her Eugenie, J. W. Anderson and Gucci ensemble. Trust a Sydney chick to bring our favourite outfit of the day.
Tuesday’s street style was a pretty sight, don’t get us wrong, but here’s hoping this is the year where attendees ease into their bold outfits and tomorrow will bring more than one or two talking points.
