Step inside Meghan Markle’s stylish former Toronto home before she was a Duchess

11 February 2017

Before life as the Duchess of Sussex, this was how Meghan Markle ‘the actress’ lived.

When Meghan Markle landed her role in the American legal drama series Suits, the former actress relocated to Toronto where the series was filmed.

Though it seems her life as ‘Rachel Zane’ is decades behind us, and with it too, her accessibility as a non-royal, fortunately, there were screengrabs of The Duchess’s Instagram account before it was promptly deactivated as her relationship with Prince Harry blossomed.

Life as the Duchess has seen her reside in various English properties including a rumoured new build in Cotswold, Nottingham Cottage (fondly known as ‘Nott Cott’ and the location of their engagement), and even a 21-room apartment on the same site neighbouring Wills and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

But their current residence and the soon-to-be home of their first child is Frogmore Cottage. The home in Windsor was provided to them as a gift from the Queen (naturally!), so it’d be rude not to, right?  Meghan has called upon the assistance the A-Lister interior designer, Vicky Charles, the same designer behind the Soho House interior and homes of the Beckhams and Clooneys.

So, in an ode to see how far Meghan has come in terms of home base, let’s review her Toronto home which she shared with her two rescue dogs, Bogart and Guy back in the day.
