Why Louis Vuitton’s free exhibition in Melbourne is worth booking a trip for

8 February 2018

Louis Vuitton adds time travel to its expansive list of revolutionary inventions.

In partnership with Chadstone shopping centre, Melbourne will be the next centre to host Time Capsule; an exhibition that invites visitors to explore a visual timeline of the most outstanding moments in the story of the Louis Vuitton Maison.

Promising a good dose of fashion and history, on display are rare and celebrated objects highlighting the ongoing technical innovations employed by Louis Vuitton from as early 1854.

From trunks that serve as picnic baskets to hat boxes and ocean/air/road-friendly travel companions, Time Capsule guides you through the brand’s most memorable creations and the evolution of their anticipation of customer’s needs and desires spanning over 160 years.

In the true essence of travel, the exhibition has been taking on new forms at various global destinations since late last year with Melbourne being the closest venue to us New Zealanders to date.

The exhibit is set to run from 24 February 24 to 21 March 2018 with no admission fee.  For more information, visit chadstone.com.au.
