Iconic New Zealand footwear designer Kathryn Wilson showcased her Spring/Summer ’18 collection to a sold-out audience at the annual Clicquot in the Snow event in Queenstown.
Opening the runway show with a bang, singer and jewellery designer Boh Runga belted out a solo on a snare drum before the models (or should we say, marching band?) strutted down the catwalk showcasing Kathryn Wilson’s vibrant Spring/Summer ’18 collection.
Celebrating the brand’s 15 year anniversary, this is the seventh year Kathryn Wilson has launched her new season designs at the annual winter champagne festival, continuing her long-standing affiliation with Veuve Clicquot. But that’s not the only thing worth celebrating: The 2018 showcase also coincided with the 200th year since Madame Clicquot blended the world’s first rosé champagne. To celebrate, Kathryn has designed a special edition rosé pink belt and thus reintroduced her much loved belts to her coveted designs.
