New York hosts the one pool table you’ll actually allow your husband to buy.
Taking over all-female social club The Wing in New York, the Coco Club pop-up is a Chanel-themed space inspired by – get this – a gentleman’s club, complete with all the standard cavalier appointments but in completely chic Chanel branding.
We’re talking billiard tables, table tennis bats, card tables and the like, all emblazoned with ‘Chanel’ in tasteful black and white.
The Soho space extends down a neon-lit hallway with the script “Be a Woman to Watch” live and alight in the centre to juxtapose the otherwise monochromatic and timeless decor.
Celebrating the brand’s Boyfriend watch collection, the pop-up uses subtle quotes and objects playfully connecting the space to the product.
And if that wasn’t enough to get Chanel fans fired up, the space also features a photo booth, a cafe and a beauty room stocked with Chanel products. Compulsory touch-ups anyone?
Inducing all kinds of Instagram envy, the wide use of the famous Chanel logo on seemingly everyday objects has provided a gateway for us to lean in on this exclusive club from the comfort of our office.
