The ‘Full House’ house is for sale! See inside…

1 June 2016

The San Francisco icon that is the Full House house is on the market, and it could be yours for a cool NZ$6.7 million!

The Victorian-era house is part of an iconic group of buildings called the Painted Ladies in San Francisco’s well-to-do Pacific Heights suburb. Tourists flock from far and wide to get a snap from the adjacent park which looks over the embellished buildings made famous by everyone’s favourite 90s sitcom, Full House.

The property was recently listed at US$4,150,000 and boasts three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, an office and classically designed garden. Originally constructed in 1883, the Charles Lewis Hinkel home is one of the city’s finest examples of Italiante Victorian architecture, according to the real estate listing.

And while the house doesn’t come with John Stamos (very disappointing) it’s safe to say you will have to deal with the screeds of tourists stopping by daily to have a nosy. A small price to pay for living your childhood dream, wouldn’t you say?
