If you’re lacking weekday inspiration, look to Eva Chen, whose working wardrobe is equally corporate, creative and cool.
Eva Chen represents the changing face of modern workwear: the director of fashion partnerships at Instagram wore this suit at London Fashion Week with monkstrap flats, updating it with Manolo Blahnik heels to wear on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Eva, whose CV includes time as beauty director at Teen Vogue and editor-in-chief at Lucky, famously made a career pivot in 2015 when she left the world of magazines for tech.
That ‘second career’ reflects her open approach to change: while Eva has helped shape the way we interact with fashion at Instagram, the New Yorker also started her own side projects with a series of children’s books (she recently published her third). It’s something she commented on at the Yahoo Finance All Markets Summit recently: “I think it’s really important to remember that a career is not a target. It’s a moving target.”
