The sleek, shiny hair at Victoria Beckham spring/summer 2017 is what our weekend hair dreams are made of.
International session stylist Guido Palau used only four products to achieve this high-end look: a primer, heat protectant spray, hairdryer and ghd platinum styler to give a super-straight finish. Glossy, expensive-looking hair? Yes please.
“We wanted something totally minimal and modern,” says Guido of the look he devised with Victoria for the show at New York Fashion Week. “It’s a very simple look but when done well it is elevated and high end. Glamour has been redefined, it’s now super groomed, rich and dead straight; this is modern glamour.”
Here’s how to get it:
1. Apply a primer and heat protectant to clean, damp hair.
2. Create a graphic centre parting and blow dry hair using the ghd natural bristle radial brush size 2 ($37) and the ghd air hairdryer ($250) for a smooth finish.
3. Finally, glide the ghd platinum styler ($360) over hair from root to tip to eliminate flyaways and give a glossy, super straight finish.
