Fans of restrained minimalism can rejoice; Cos is opening in Auckland next year.
Have you ever seen a chic, understated person and wondered what they’re wearing? It’s probably Cos.
A must-visit destination for the FQ team when we’re overseas, no longer will we have to find space in our suitcases for the knitwear, coats and footwear the brand does so well – Cos just announced that it will be opening a store in Auckland in 2020.
For those who aren’t familiar with the brand, it launched in London in 2007 as part of the H&M Group, and since then has quietly and steadily built its reputation on timeless basics, mid-level pricing and contemporary design. Cos is beloved by corporates and creatives alike for its offering of high-quality staples, modern classics and refined fashion items – think roll-neck sweaters, trench coats, high-cut leather flats and funnel neck dresses – all in a palette of carefully considered neutrals.
While we don’t yet have a specific date for launch, we’re already putting together our wish list… scroll down to see the FQ team’s picks from Cos, followed by a look at the brand’s AW19 campaign shot by Mark Borthwick.
