Just like Cara, her house has personality to boot.
Thanks to Architectural Digest we’ve been provided with a behind-the-scenes look into Cara Delevingne’s London life with the publication revealing photos of the model-actress’ remodelled West London home. Previously living with her parents due to her hectic schedule, Cara purchased the £2.95 million (approximately $5.78 million NZD) property in November 2014, according to UK Mirror.
To complete the redesign, Cara teamed up with family friend and interior designer Tom Bartlett to create a modern and homely space that still reflected Cara’s wild side. Due to travel, most of the consultations and planning meetings had to be completed via FaceTime, but the results show that clearly this didn’t hinder the outcome in any way.
The home now features jewel tones, mismatched chairs and a guest bathroom with two side-by-side toilets. (Go figure?) The master bedroom includes an eye-catching custom canopy bed leading into a master bathroom with a marble bathtub and a mural of clouds by artist Sarah Hocombe.
Neon signs are a continuing theme with Cara’s love for fries proclaimed above a bar cart while a neon “love” sign is on display in the music room. Other quirky touches can be seen throughout the property including a hamburger cushion and balloon lights in the bathroom. In essence, Cara’s pad lives up to expectations being just as quirky and creative as she is.
