Women’s Marches on Donald Trump’s first full day in office took place in over 20 countries around the world on January 21.
Over one million marched in Washington D.C. alone, and millions more took to the streets to peacefully protest in New York, Los Angeles, London and Sydney. Closer to home, marches took place in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill.
The Women’s March is believed to be the biggest inauguration protest in history, with numbers exceeding those who turned up for Trump’s inauguration.
