Lorde might not have won an award, but her outfit was gold
If the MTV VMAs are here then you know what time it is: awards season time! That’s right, a night of celebration, out-of-this-world entertainment, crazy outfits, and memorable moments kicked off yesterday in LA.
Speaking of outfits… while we were stoked to hear that Kendrick Lamar was the bigger winner on the evening, taking home a cool six awards for our go-to jam ‘Humble’, it was the red blue carpet fashion that really had us excited.
It might be New Zealand Fashion Week but the real Kiwi slayin’ in the style stakes was our Miss FQ May cover star, Lorde who wore a strikingly feminine, lavender Monique Lhuillier gown. Although she totes deserved to win an award, she’s the real MVP in our eyes.
Another fave was, of course, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown who at age 13 has better style than we do in our 20s. Literal goals. And the same goes for Paris Jackson in Dior. I can’t even.
While there were a few *ahem* misses (Nicki Minaj, what’s with the latex pink onesie, babes?), we’re all about celebrating the wins at Miss FQ so here is our list of the best dressed stars from the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards…
