Moving on from her split with Brad Pitt and the property divorce that ensued, Angelina Jolie has purchased her very own sprawling Loz Feliz estate, once home to the late and legendary film director Cecil B. DeMille.

After reports of Jolie inspecting the property, it has been confirmed that the actress and mother of six made a successful offer on the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom estate of close to US$25M (NZD$33M) through the luxury real estate agency Hilton & Hyland.

The historic neoclassical home was built in 1913 and includes a generous 1021 square metres of multiple structures set on 2.1 acres with ocean views.

A six-year renovation has resulted in some modern updates to the home with contemporary amenities and luxury finishes in the kitchen, bathrooms and the addition of a fitness room and a new yet classic old Hollywood style pool.
