If you’re not up for a full body catsuit – and model Manahou Mackay looked exceptional enough for us to A. admit defeat B. consider wearing one in the hopes of channelling even an ounce of her fire – the one shoulder mini-dress is the ideal alternative.

The glossy leather option seen in spike heel boots and Stolen’s classic biker jacket shape looked slick and shiny under the lights, lending an expensive edge to a shape that’s usually deployed as tough and grungy. The orangey-red hue worked especially well on the boots, just begging to be contrasted with some soft, slouchy knits and straight skirts for work or play.

The extended eyeshadow look is seriously trending everywhere right now, but where previous looks have been subtle and chic, here MAC makeup artist Kiekie Stanners conjured up the perfect mix of rebellious glamour. “She’s the girl in 1970s New York City, punk, but she also likes going to Studio 54 too.” Translated into products, that’s using MAC’s shimmery Naval Blue pigment for the luxury glam, with a touch of gloss over top for a slightly worn-in finish.

Modern contrasting of textures was a highlight of the collection, nearly every outfit playing on soft meets tough, or shiny vs delicate. Most successful in our view was where soft knits were layered with structured counterparts.

In her surprise runway appearance, Jess Quinn demonstrated she can not only dance, but work it on a runway too. Her heavy coat over turtleneck mini-dress look will bring reassurance to mid-winter party-goers everywhere, once it arrives in stores in time for next winter.

No need to wash your hair when it’s going up in a could-care-less high knot. To create, hair director Richard Kavagnah used Redken’s One United treatment spray to dampen hair. In a typical pro-only hack, he also doused it with Redken Brews beard oil (see why we said don’t wash your hair?) wrapped sections around a heated tong for natural texture, before scraping up to the top of the head and securing by wrapping with sequined fabric remnants.

If you’ve ever had to carry a swipe card on a cord for work you might be surprised, but excited (or perhaps dismayed?) to learn Stolen’s new hands-free accessory option is a leather card-case on a neck strap. Apologies, no room for phone or lipstick though.

We’re not completely on board, but the angsty, hot boys in slouchy camo and fur-accented Crocs made a somewhat convincing case for making Crocs ‘happen’. We’d definitely suggest leaving the white ones on the runway though.
